About the artist:

Tram Colwin is a Vietnamese-American watercolor artist. She resides in Northwest Arkansas with her husband, Charlie and their two pups. Her love for art began in her early childhood, watching her mom sketch little flowers in her notebook. This passion for art led her to earn a BA in Fine Arts from Oklahoma Baptist University, where she was named Outstanding Senior Artist. In 2017 she launched her creative business, Tram Colwin Studio, where she creates custom artwork, prints, stationery goods, and art kits. Tram’s art highlights her love of nature and the beauty found there. Since 2018, she has taught creative workshops all around Arkansas and neighboring states. Teaching workshops lets her combine her love of art with the fun of teaching it to others. 

Her work has been featured in magazines including FLUX Hawaii and At Home Arkansas. She is a recent recipient of the Artist360 Community Activator Grant through the Mid-America Arts Alliance. In 2023, she co-founded the Women of the Ozarks, an artist collective created to spotlight and amplify female artists throughout the Ozark Mountain regions.
