The Mickalene Thomas boxed set of three notepads—featuring Afro Goddess Looking
Forward, Portrait of Maya #10, and Din avec la main dans le miroir et jupe rouge—has gold
gilded edges on each notebook, reminiscent of the gold accents used in her works. The rigid box
packaging has a gold satin ribbon to easily pull out the contents: one notepad is blank, one is
lined, and one is a dotted grid.
